Borra Week Day 01: Day Off
I DID IT…..mind you I screwed up everywhere but hey at least I posted something in time?
There’s not enough pillows. I guess Bo beat her in a Pokemon battle with the Endeavor/FocusSash/Quick Attack trick or something and she’s like “……….you can’t just do that Bo” Spoiler Alert: She pushes him off the bed.
For the most part, we don’t really see how Bolin misses or thinks of his parents. I like to think that while Mako was closest to their dad, Bolin was closest to their mom. And although Bolin’s memories of his parents have faded over time, he can still remember her long hair, her smile, and how she always smelled of this certain special flower.
Prompt: Kira’s headcanon here and the drawing from it here. I had to write a fic about it. In which Bolin and Korra meet on a date-like dinner just to catch up every once in a while, even though she’s with Mako.
Rating: T for strong language and themes.

A/N: A nice, long one. It’s a set of 10 drabbles. Based loosely on Kira’s head canon, and I added some of my own touches. Pay attention to body language rather than words; you’ll get more out of it.
It’s canon Makorra in this, but the Borra is implied heavily on one side and hinted at on the other. Don’t cry!

“I’m glad we’re doing this. Thank you for meeting me.”
Korra smiles, brushing a strand of her hair back.
“‘S what friends do,” she jokes, punching his arm.
Bolin rotates his shoulder, laughing.
“Yeah. So how you been?”
Korra swallows her chunk of seal, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand.
“Pretty good. Mako’s more nervous about the wedding than I am.”
“Doesn’t every girl dream of her wedding day?”
“I guess that makes Mako a girl then,” she says wryly, grinning, and Bolin can’t help but to return it.
Inspired by Kira’s headcanon where Bolin and Korra still go on friendly dates once a year throughout her life
“Korra, please come back… I love you. I love you so much, I always have, please…”
i hope Bolin is the only one who can bring Korra out of the Avatar state.
